Berkshire x Potbellied Pig
Tilly jumped from a truck transporting her to slaughter! She broke her foot in multiple places and suffered extensive bruising. A passerby scooped her up and took her to a wildlife rehabilitator. Unfortunately, a veterinarian misdiagnosed Tilly’s swollen foot as “bumblefoot”, a common foot infection in large breed birds. By the time Tilly got to us, her foot had healed poorly and she needed intensive antibiotic therapy to treat her bone infection. Additionally, Tilly was overfed, leading her to weigh 15 pounds more than she should. As of August 2025, she has lost 7 pounds and needs to lose another 7.
Tilly loves people, and is very curious. She loves strutting around the yard, showing off.
