San Francisco Vegan Society’s World Vegan Fest is one of the longest-running vegan festivals in the United States. This award-winning event celebrates 25 years of promoting healthy, ethical, and sustainable living through a plant-based diet and a cruelty-free lifestyle.
World Vegan Fest features renowned speakers, demonstrations by top vegan chefs, cruelty-free vendors, lively entertainment, and an incredible variety of delicious vegan food.
World Vegan Fest will be held at the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park on Sunday, October 20, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Over 3,000 attendees usually join us for World Vegan Fest and we are anticipating an even bigger turnout this year for the 25th anniversary.

Animal Place is excited to attend the upcoming DOCO Block Party and Sacramento Kings Fan Fest! Visit our booth to learn more about how to get involved with Animal Place, shop merch and visit with our team. Adding to fun, the Sacramento Kings will host their annual Fan Fest from 1-4PM. – carving and painting pumpkins
– trick or treating with the animals!
Children 2-years-old and younger are free.
Costumes are encouraged! Please bring a pumpkin with you to feed to the pigs.Â

Please note: long pants and boots are required to visit the animals. (There are restrooms to change into if needed and boots available to borrow at the sanctuary)

Event Information
Admission to this pet festival is free, so bring your family and friends to enjoy a variety of activities at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter located at 3839 Bradshaw Rd, Sacramento, CA. Explore pet-related booths, support local small businesses and makers, savor delicious treats from food trucks, try your luck at our raffles, and meet adorable and adoptable pets. Dogs on a 6ft leash or shorter are welcome. Adoption fees ​will also be waived at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter 12pm to 5pm on Saturday, November 2nd.
Join us for hot cocoa and cow cuddles on Sunday, March 9th at Animal Place Sanctuary from 10:00am-11:30am!
Tickets are $20 and include a cup of cocoa and a short tour with the animals. Children two-years-old or younger are free.

Join us for a public guided tour, where you and your friends, family, or colleagues can meet and greet with the rescued animals and learn about Animal Place’s important work.
You will get to meet the sheep, goats, and rabbits! Cows and pigs may come up to the fence for treats! The chickens and turkeys are currently unavailable due to the Avian Influenza.
Please note: Tickets must be purchased in advance. We are not able to accommodate walk-in guests at this time. We also require an adult/child ratio of 1:2 for our public tours.
Please know that your donation directly benefits the animals at the sanctuary and helps offset the costs of running tours. Thank you!
Payment: $20 donation per guest (children two years old or younger are free). If the recommended donation of $20 exceeds your budget, please reach out to [email protected] for accomodations.

Join us for Goat Pilates on Sunday, April 6th at Animal Place Sanctuary from 11am-12pm!
Tickets are $20 and include a one hour session, led by instructor Jonna Dolinta, and refreshments after. Strengthen your mind and your body alongside our rescued goat friends!Â
This beginner-friendly Pilates class combines stretching, strength and flexibility. Using only your body weight, we will flow through slow, intentional exercises that improve mobility and core strength while focusing on deep breathing. Perfect for all levels, this class helps release tension, reset your body, and leave you feeling refreshed and restored!
