Meet the Newest Piglets!

Last month, a mama pig and her piglets escaped from what we assume is a backyard butcher. Given their breed, it is likely they faced slaughter at 6-8 months old. Animal control captured them.

Farm Animal Refuge (FAR) reached out for help. The mother and several piglets had been adopted and FAR wanted to ensure the remaining piglets (and potbellied pig) went to sanctuary. FAR could take two, and another sanctuary, Sale Ranch, could adopt one. Don’t you love when sanctuaries work together?

But that left two male piglets in need of a safety net. YOU are that safety net!

Your $15 donation helps pay for each boy’s neuter. For every $15 you donate, you can submit a name for the boy on the right!

This sweet boy loves belly rubs. He has what is known as “cauliflower ear”, the result of a hematoma that healed on its own. If you even look at him, he flops over for a belly rub.

Your $15 donation goes directly toward the $600 estimated neuter and medical costs.
