Sonya has always felt a special connection to animals. 10 years ago, she aligned her actions with her beliefs and became vegan. She grew up near Philadelphia and received a B.S. in Business Administration from La Salle University. In 2022, she moved to California with her partner, Tim, and three rescued dogs to provide a sanctuary for wildlife and eventually farmed animals. Sonya joined Animal Place in 2024 and is honored to be a part of such a compassionate and inspiring team. In her spare time, she enjoys admiring nature, cooking, crocheting, and practicing yoga.
