Regular Volunteer Opportunities

How can you help? Animal Place is always looking for volunteers who want to help us further our mission. You can be involved in a variety of ways: helping with barn cleaning, socializing animals, educating the public at events, assisting with tours, office work, and much more! We have opportunities both onsite at events offsite. Interested in learning more about our current opportunities? Check out our volunteer page on Vomo and sign up HERE!

You can become a regular volunteer at Animal Place by becoming an Animal Socializer, Barn Cleaner, or both! First, volunteers must attend an orientation and complete two training shifts. More information about job descriptions and training process can be found in our Volunteer Handbook.

If you are interested in helping out with events, office work, or volunteer work parties, no experience or orientation is needed! Just sign up on our Vomo Volunteer page!

Youth Volunteer Opportunities

We offer exciting volunteer opportunities for youth, welcoming individuals aged 12 and older to make a difference for animals. Volunteers between the ages of 12-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during all volunteer activities. To ensure a safe and rewarding experience, parents or guardians are required to complete all necessary steps to become registered volunteers.

Is your teen interested in completing their senior project or school required hours at Animal Place? Email [email protected] to learn more.
